Raimonda Belli Gjençaj është gazetare dhe shkrimtare e njohur. Ajo është diplomuar në Universitetin e Tiranës në vitin 1977 në degën e gazetarisë. Ajo ka punuar më shumë se dhjetë vjet në revistën “Shqiptarja e re” e më pas në Akademinë e Shkencave, në sektorin e Enciklopedisë (1990-1993). Për më shumë se 15 vjet ka qenë bashkëpunëtore e Radio-Televizionit Shqiptar (1973-1989). Është autore e një sërë tregimesh dhe novelash të botuara në shtypin letrar të kohës. Nga krijimtaria për fëmijë përmendim librat: Duduqi që kërkonte kushërinj, Kukulla Blerta udhëton drejt detit, Taku rrumbullaku, Tiku thataniku dhe Roboti Tik-Tak dhe serinë me 2 vëllime të Torobotit. Është autore e romaneve: Epitafi i fundit, Butonat prej platini dhe Shtatë shpirtrat e Terezës, që lexuesi i ka pritur me shumë interes. Libri i fundit është Grila e bardhë. Autorja është fituese e çmimit letrar të Ambasadës Spanjolle në vitin 2009 për tregimin me titull “Lot në oqean”. Në vitin 2025 është shpallur fituese e fondit krijues për fëmijë dhënë nga Qendra Kombëtare e Librit dhe Leximit me librin “Dhjetë pyetjet e Ardenit”.
